Come, mother, maiden, queen, mystic, huntress, wise woman, lover.
This workshop is a space for you to nurture and explore the layered depths of yourself– to come as you are, to tend to the fullness of your experience, to embody an aspect of yourself that you either admire, are becoming or have yet to explore. We will begin the day with a guided YOGA SESSION from Rare Bird Farm Founder, Artist and Yogi, Farrah Hoffmire and then flow into BREATHWORK and a guided exercise in somatic centering with Poet and Women’s Counselor, Tiffany Narron. We will step outside of the busy minds needed to tend in our modern world and slip into a space of softness, of power, and embodied wisdom. After our flow practice and discussion, we’ll have writing prompts and creative offerings to listen, write, and explore what comes up.
Each participant will then enter into an Intimate 30-minute PHOTO SESSION on the farm with Photographer René Treece of Luxe House Photographic to capture a reflective heirloom of your wise, embodied self. These private sessions offer comfort in a nest of natural privacy. Bring your own native magic, feathers, flowers, draped fabrics and ribbons, your favorite garments, under or outer clothing…..and most importantly YOU. See images from our past sessions here.
The full workshop cost includes: weekend farm camping upon request, a homemade vegetable stew, garden fresh salad, fresh baked bread, herbals teas, one 7x10 fine art print from your photo session as well as edits of your images and a viewing/ordering session, guided yoga, breath work and somatic centering, art and writing tables with guidance and prompts for self-expression and reflection, miles of nature trails, farm animals, and a supportive community to center and explore in.
Post session is optional and includes a communal circle around the fire to share our experiences, a nourishing meal together, and a music and song circle led by the wild and wise, Sparrow Pants of The Resonant Rogues. Weekend farm camping available upon request.
What to bring: Yourself. Bring what inspires you, what makes you feel beautiful or fierce, wise, and embodied. Unique garments, lingerie, fabric you love, accessories that enliven. Botanicals are always a great addition. There will be space for you to change into whatever you would like to wear or not wear. Just be YOU.
After the shoot: We will set a viewing and ordering session after the portrait session. During this ordering session, you will choose your 7×10 fine art print that is included in the session. You will have 20-25 proofs to choose your print from. Additional prints will be available. Most people invest in additional prints but there is absolutely no pressure to do so.
