Bandaloop Tiny Music Festival
Join us for a special weekend at Rare Bird Farm as we host the first-ever Bandaloop Tiny Music Festival. This intimate two-day event is all about great music and art, magic and enchantment, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Tom Robbins experience is not necessary to have a great time!
The Story Behind Bandaloop
"Bandaloop" draws inspiration from the Bandaloop Doctors featured in Tom Robbins' Jitterbug Perfume, who are able to dance their way to immortality in the Himalayas. This name perfectly captures the timeless, joyful spirit of music and creativity that we celebrate at Rare Bird Farm. As devoted fans of Robbins, we’ve infused his influence throughout our farm. Our logo is inspired by Still Life with Woodpecker, and we’ve dedicated a special library to Robbins, where all his published works are honored on a dedicated shelf beneath a framed letter he wrote to us. Among our treasured pets are Tanuki “Nuki” and two goats, Alobar and Kudra, named after beloved characters from Robbins' books. Now, we proudly present Bandaloop, an annual Tiny Music Festival, and invite fellow Tom Robbins fans and those just looking for a creative musical and artistic experience to join us in celebrating one of the great writers of our time!
