Death & Dying Workshop in 2024

Death Fest is an evolution of the community death workshops we've been gathering around over the past several years. Bringing together practitioners, artists, caregivers, and community leaders, the festival creates space for conversations about death, dying, grief, remembrance, and what it means to care for one another through life's final transitions.

Through talks, workshops, music, ritual, art, storytelling, and hands-on learning, participants will explore topics such as community death care, green burial, grief tending, advance planning, end-of-life rights, and traditions that help us navigate loss and connection. Because this subject is both vast and deeply human, we see Death Fest as an ongoing and evolving gathering that will continue to grow alongside our community.
