ANGELA AUTUMN

Her discography includes several albums, notably 'Cowboy Jack Clementine' (2023), which showcases her unique fusion of folk and country music. Angela's performances are characterized by authenticity and a profound appreciation for the rich musical heritage of Appalachia. Her work continues to resonate with audiences, drawing them into the stories and landscapes she so vividly portrays through her music.

LOU HAZEL

Lou Hazel (Chris Frisina) was born in the rustic town of Olean, New York to a family of northeastern wiseacres and intelligent hillbillies who remain hell bent on living full, rich lives despite brutal winters in a persistent economic downturn. Runt of the litter, according to his only sister.

Not one to commit easily, he skirted the compulsive hunting and fishing tradition held close to his father’s heart - instead cultivating a sensitivity more suited to artists and vagabonds. In illustrations, his pen swirl meanders towards an eventual finish only understood upon completion – just as in his music.

In songwriting, Chris uses what can only be explained as a genetic link to ancestral angst and talent to search for his place in a world out of sync.  Part unquiet soul. Part young fool. Chris hopes to share his observations on our shared journey through life in mutual search of something pure.

Chris continues to pull from a constant and pervasive sense of disquiet–gleaned from his childhood, solo travels, work experiences, sullen periods of insomnia and close friendships–to create mournful tones, pulsing with lost opportunity, longing and regret. Except for those few magical times, when it goes the other way.

ANJIMILE

Anjimile is a Durham, NC-based singer-songwriter known for their introspective lyrics, intricate guitar work, and genre-blending approach to folk and indie music. Originally from Texas, Anjimile gained national attention with their 2020 debut album Giver Taker, a deeply personal and sonically rich exploration of identity, resilience, and transformation. Their music weaves elements of folk, pop, and African rhythms, creating a unique and evocative sound. Anjimile’s follow-up album, The King (2023), showcased a darker, more orchestral evolution of their songwriting, further solidifying their reputation as a bold and innovative voice in contemporary folk music.

BRITTANY ANN TRANBAUGH

Brittany Ann Tranbaugh is a Philadelphia-based songwriter whose queer Americana heartbreaker “Kiss You” won Song of the Year in the 2021 John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Tranbaugh has been writing songs and playing shows as a side gig since she was a teenager, but in February 2023, at 31 years old, she finally quit her office job to pursue a full-time career in music. Her newest release is a self-titled EP produced by Grammy-winner Tyler Chester which showcases Tranbaugh in her new era: energetic, self-assured, surrounded by her beloved musical community, and more commanding as a vocalist and writer than ever before.

ROSALI

Rosali is a singer-songwriter and guitarist known for her evocative blend of folk, rock, and psychedelic influences. Based in Philadelphia and North Carolina, she crafts introspective, deeply felt songs that balance raw vulnerability with intricate musicianship. Her albums, including No Medium (2021), showcase her dynamic range—from delicate acoustic ballads to expansive, guitar-driven soundscapes. With a sound that bridges classic folk traditions and modern indie rock, Rosali has earned acclaim for her heartfelt songwriting and expressive guitar work, making her a compelling voice in contemporary Americana and rock music.

SLUICE

Sluice is the musical project of North Carolina-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Justin Morris. Rooted in the rich storytelling traditions of the South, Sluice blends folk, country, and experimental textures to create deeply personal and atmospheric songs. Their debut album, Radial Gate, is a meditation on place, memory, and the shifting landscapes of rural North Carolina. With haunting melodies and poetic lyricism, Sluice offers a fresh yet timeless perspective on Southern music, resonating with fans of both traditional folk and forward-thinking indie sounds.

MAGIC TUBER STRING BAND

Magic Tuber String Band is a Durham, North Carolina-based duo composed of Courtney Werner and Evan Morgan. Blending traditional Appalachian, old-time, and experimental folk influences, their music is deeply rooted in regional traditions while embracing improvisation and dynamic instrumental interplay. With fiddle, banjo, and guitar, Magic Tuber Stringband creates rich, atmospheric soundscapes that feel both timeless and exploratory. Their work captures the spirit of Southern folk music, offering a fresh and evocative take on the genre.

PRIMROSE COKE

Rosie Coke is a versatile artist based in Marshall, North Carolina, known for her work across various mediums. Among her artistic endeavors, she has explored the traditional art form of crankie storytelling. Crankies are moving panoramas that use illustrated scrolls wound onto spools and hand-cranked within a box, revealing a visual narrative accompanied by storytelling or music. Through this medium, Rosie brings stories to life, blending visual art with performance to create immersive storytelling experiences.

BABA YAGA’S PHOTO HUT with Taryn Piana

Hidden deep in the haints and hollers of Southern Appalachia there is a mythical hut that runs about on chicken feet. It’s glass eye capturing glimpses of the folks that dare sit down and stare back. Follow your intuition into the hut and bare your beautiful souls for the eye of the witch within. Baba Yaga’s Photo Hut creates timeless tin-type-style photography, and polaroids printed on site or archived to the oracle(internet). We aim to capture magical moments in time and memories of beautiful gatherings. Whether you seek the rough and rustic, beautiful and ethereal, folky fun, or childhood innocence captured, we welcome all within.

Spring Creek homesteader and multimedia artist Taryn Piana worked professionally for 20 years in the arts, music, and performance. During that time she found a passion for mythos and folklore, storytelling and philosophy. Photography was a natural outlet for her to express and capture the beauty that is everywhere. She is inspired by the community and culture of Southern Appalachia and would be honored to collaborate with the muses of the moments.
